Having more time for adventures thanks to retirement, we bought a van and went searching for a company that would realise our vision of a home on wheels - bright, comfortable and uniquely ours. Other companies helped us in working out what we didn’t want then an initial chat with David, followed up with a truly terrible layout drawing (mine!) suggested that we may have found ‘the one’.

When we met David and Daniel they listened to our ideas, made suggestions and ensured we were involved throughout the conversion. We wanted a sociable space, simple in design, with our separate ‘thrones’ and maximum storage for sea kayaking gear. I had dreamt of sitting at the back, doors open or closed and soaking up the views.

During the last year our trips have included many Scottish islands: Shetland; Orkney, Outer Hebrides; Mull; the north west of Scotland and Pembrokeshire in Wales. So much to explore - the buzz and joy we feel when we head off in our van on some new adventure is just fabulous! Everything we wished for.
